First post in a while >.<

I'm a small stepping stone across my journey for achieving awesomeness guitar sound. My Boss Noise Suppressor arrived today; now I just need to save up for my Peavey Stack. Not only that, but I whipped some Beefy Slinky strings on my Xplorer and I am impressed, tuning down to Drop G# has the same tension as Standard with '10s would have, not that G# sounds good by the way xD

Band is moving along rather nicely got two songs down, working on another two ready for our next gig

Spent some time today working on a subscription feature, you will now be able to get notifications via email of when new blog entries are posted, simply fill in the little form on the right.

I have started saving for a Peavey 6505 Combo amp, check my progress by clicking the “The Fund” in the top right corner of this page.

Took some band photos today, should be getting them back tomorrow ready for uploading ^_^

We raised over £700 for Children In Need today and the gig had a huge turnout, we only did one song again, it was an expanded version of the random song me and Matt did last time.

I have another charity gig for Children In Need on Friday, I will be doing mostly the same stuff as the last one, however this time I will be doing a little intro song and The Metal by Tenacious D with Kurt.

Just got back from Eurogamer, it was pretty cool. Played many great upcoming games and we even sneaked into the over 18 section that had Saw, Left 4 Dead and Alien vs. Predator. Was a really good day, some of the best photos are below (click to enlarge):

Despite my earlier decision that the gig would be terrible, it was actually really good. The audience was great and everyone played very well, including me, of course xD. Unfortunately I won’t have the video until Monday 2nd November, my camera was running low on batteries and I had none spare, so I’ll have to wait until the school footage is edited. Just a quick update. I’m doing a charity thingy inside school on Friday for tickled pink, me and Matt are doing a random improvisation that we made in like an hour, it is most likely going to be terrible, but meh xD.

Also on Tuesday I’m going to Eurogamer Expo 09 with Kurt and Curtis, expect many pictures ^_^

Spent the most part of today in a recording studio making Burnt Toast, it came out quite nicely. Unfortunately I didn’t get time to record the preview of the song I am composing.

Just a quick update: tomorrow I will be recording the theme tune for Burnt Toast and possibly the preview of my song if we have time. Will also be making a logo for it shortly, if anyone is or knows of a decent video editor who can make a good intro video to go with the theme tune, contact me and I’ll give you more details.

I have finally decided on an idea for a video series, I am going to review Xbox 360 games, most of the time it is going to be making fun of the game. Going to start making these shortly, but even better I should be making a theme tune for it too as long as my uncle is all good helping me with it in his recording studio.

My band will be working on our own song soon, a few days ago a tune popped into my head and I’m doing my best to translate it to guitar, I’ll get some sort of preview for it shortly.

Also I won’t be online as much for a week or two because my cat jumped onto my laptop with lots of force and somehow killed the harddrive on it :/
